I know this blog has been dead for nearly four years! So, I decided to revive it for good. And, I will talk about games and apps, mainly on Android platform. Okay, let's get started.
Today, I want to talk about Amazon Underground, a place where you can get a handful of paid apps for free! Absolutely free, even the in-app purchases won't cost you a dime! I don't really know how this works. But once you download and install the Amazon Underground App , you get to download and use 100% free versions of popular apps and games like Frozen Free Fall, Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions, OfficeSuite Professional 8, Goat Simulator, Angry Birds Slingshot Stella and many more. Have you ever wanted unlimited coins to buy those power ups or unlock levels? Well, now you can do that and much more. Most of the apps and games work without network connection, but some of them require it though. That's a bummer, but you won't notice because most of them work without network connection, like I said. I've downloaded all versions of my favorite game "Cut the Rope" and it works without any network whatsoever unless you want to make a purchase, which is of course free! We've already heard HTC chime in, and now it's Sony Ericsson's turn to commit to Ice Cream Sandwich. Responding to a reader question on its Facebook wall, Sony Ericsson Netherlands said "we are planning to upgrade our 2011 Xperia smartphone portfolio to the next Android platform, following Gingerbread 2.3.4." That family includes the Xperia Arc, Xperia Play, Xperia Neo, Xperia Pro, and Xperia Mini Pro so far, among others.
Sony Ericsson historically hasn't had the best track record with timely Android updates. The Xperia X10 series launched with 1.6 Donut at a time when other devices were rolling out with 2.1 Eclair, and multi-touch was all but dismissed until eventually the company announced it found away to incorporate pinch-to-zoom. Still, the entire 2010 Xperia lineup was eventually upgraded to 2.1, and more importantly, Sony Ericsson is a member of Google's so-called "18 month" groupthat promises support for its new Android devices for 18 months after each launches ("pending hardware support" and assuredly other important loopholes). So it's not really a question of if the 2011 lineup will get ICS, but more so, it's when.
With all the major brand conferences, meets and reviews scheduled on the card in the days to come, it’s time for some more excitement. We are constantly craving and looking forward for the next big buzz in the world of technology. Buyers are just not satisfied and hope again for the best to arrive. The cell phone industry and the communication system is just getting better and better and from the humble dial telephone we have the latest sleek Smartphone’s ruling the market. Samsung has launched the Galaxy S II which resembles the very competitive Apple iPhones. Very similar to the iPhone 4 the galaxy goes ahead and has got that glamorous look with its 4.3 inch AMOLED display. The 16GB of built-in storage, 1GB RAM memory which runs on a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, a 8 megapixel camera. It’s a run for all the other Smartphone and sure seems to be the best.

Samsung is also ready to launch the first version of the Verizon 4G LTE. Yet to be launched this Smartphone with its QWERTY slider keyboard has loads of goodies attached. With the android 2.3 gingerbread operating system, 1 GHZ processor, 512MB Ram, 4GB of onboard memory plus 4GB installed memory on the microSD card, a fine AMOLED display, 5-megapixel rear camera with flash, also a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and the smooth QWERTY slider keyboard, it’s awesome. Special feature like the voice dialer, a speech-to-text feature can act as a mobile hotspot for up to eight devices on 4G, and up to five devices on 3G. That’s really Cool for a Hot phone.
LG revolution 2:
Similar to the Verizon 4G LTE, LG is all set and ready to launch the LG revolution 2. An upgraded version of the original LG revolution, the LG revolution 2 is sleek , thin, has a 4.5 inch Display and dual core processor, it is 4G, LTE enabled Smartphone with a 8 megapixel a camera.
HTC Amaze 4G:

With the upgraded HSPA+42 networks, 4.3-inch HD high quality touch-screen display, the HTC Amaze 4Gis clear, bright, and pretty with a great feel. The Android 2.3.4 gingerbread is the operating system and has a good lot of pre loaded applications. Even the 8 megapixel camera is very impressive.
Mango Phones:-
Mango being the window phone 7.5 with the latest mobile Operating system by Microsoft is the new buzz. Microsoft is just waiting to set the world apart with the latest Mango phones. Some of the mango phones have already been launched in Europe like the HTC Titan and the Samsung Omnia W. But in the US market we have seen the HTC radar and the Focus Flash. Already in the US Market, there is a lot to focus on this Focus S and Focus Flash by Samsung powered by Mango.

Talking about the higher end Focus S with its 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.4GHz processor can connect to AT&T’s HSPA+ network with ease. Having an 8 megapixels rear and 1.3 megapixel front camera. Going mango both the models are powered by the window 7.5 operating system.

HTC Radar was introduced with the 4G windows in the T series. With support from the HSPA+ 14.4 this T series has a great download speed. Not very impressive specification but still a must have with its 3.8-inch LCD display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, fine AMOLED display and the rich aluminum body gives it a great feel.
A small cuckoo informed us that there is more in store and if we are not satisfied with the androids and mangos we can sure welcome the Tablet Phone. Though this is just information we thought we can share with you. Huawei the Chinese company who have already launched quite a few android phones are all set to introduce the Tablet phone which will have a 7 inch Display. More specifications are not provided so we need to be patient.
Be it an android, mango or tablet, over the years, technology and innovations has come up with some really hot, trendy, sleek, compact Smartphone’s. We definitely need to see this war of phones which have already begin. The latest names itself are so trendy, fruity and cute, we have seen an Apple, now there is a Mango. What we have heard is that Samsung were supposed to launch the Ice cream sandwich phone as well but it may be delayed. What else would be fruity, juicy and HOT? Let’s wait and watch.

It might be hard to imagine, but Apple's dominance of the mobile download space may be waning. Per VentureBeat, App Store analyst firm Xyologic predicts that be June 2012, Android devices will surpass iOS devices in the number of apps downloaded on a monthly basis.

Currently, Apple's iOS App Store is the biggest force in the mobile market-- by a comfortable margin. In August, the App Store saw more than 1.45 billion apps downloaded for its iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices. That's more than double the number reported for Google's Android platform, which boasted a healthy 640 million downloads.
So why does Xyologic see the Android overtaking Apple's platform? "Apple continues to grow at exponential rates, but Android is growing at hyper-exponential rates[emphasis added]," explained Xyologic co-founder Matthaus Krzykowski to VentureBeat. "In the coming months, we’ll see a number of countries where Android becomes No. 1."
Xyologic sees the Android continuing to grow faster than the iOS, with Apple losing more and more of their share every month. Xyologic also predicts that Android's total number of apps downloaded will surpass the iOS downloads by mid-2013 (with over 84 billion downloads for each platform) and that the number of apps available for the Android will eclipse the number of apps available for the iOS by mid next year (current totals stand at ~466,000 for Apple's iOS, and ~289,000 for Google's Android).
Of course, these are predictions, not facts. Why Xyologic's methodology seems sound, anyone in the tech industry will tell you that the market could change dramatically in a matter of months, let alone weeks. If Apple or Google produce hardware that shakes up the industry, the market shares of the corresponding platforms will rise and fall accordingly. Google's acquiring of Motorola Mobility may accelerate the shift faster than Xyologic predicts, for example, or Apple's new iPhone 4S could hasten a move back towards Apple. We don't know. So in short: a lot can happen between now and next June.
This could be true given the fact that Android is catching up pretty fast in countries like India where only the rich can buy iPhones due to the huge price difference between the two platforms.

- Power OFF your Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro SK17i and connect it to the PC in fastboot mode. The phone USB cable will help.
- Flash the rooting file being careful not to rename it.
- Flashing will complete and you will receive an OK message after which you should disconnect the USB cable.
- Power ON the phone and enable Unknown Sources and USB Debugging. Start the Super One Click app on your PC.
- Click on Root for your phone to be rooted. You will see your phone blinking or it may restart both of which are signs that rooting is in progress.
- Reboot your phone once rooting is complete and you should see Super User app to indicate successful rooting. Click on this app and follow prompts to allow access to the rooting privileges.
