After learning it find pages with High PR and not the sites with high PR. PR is basically the Page Rank which is assigned by the Google. It starts from 0 and goes to 10 where 10 is the best and 0 the worst.
For traffic, if you need the instant traffic then use Yahoo Answers, Google groups, Twitter, Digg, Stumbleupon, Spamming in Facebook and Myspace groups and many more ways.
